Weekend Care Assistant

The Raikes is a friendly family run Care Home for the Elderly, set in Silsden. There are 30 vulnerable residents who live here, many with dementia. We do our utmost to deliver person centered care & we all work as a team.

We have a vacancy for a Weekend Care Assistant. Shifts are a mixture of lates and earlies, working every weekend.

You will be expected to deliver personal cares, assist with washing, dressing, meal times, and work as a team at the same time using your own initiative, diplomacy & tact.

You will liaise with your Senior members of staff.

You must be NVQ qualified or working towards this qualification, alternatively have some experience within a Residential Care setting or be prepared to undertake the Care Certificate.

PLEASE BE AWARE YOU MUST BE 18 OR OVER FOR THIS ROLE

Full training & induction period will be given.

The post requires a DBS check to be undertaken. The cost of this is £58.
