**Job Purpose**:

- Hand packing production directly from production machines to a post-production quality standard**.**

**Responsibilities**:

- To ensure all machines are kept productive by ensuring a constant supply of bottles are always available, when completing a Production Support Operative role within the print department.
- To follow the 6S housekeeping program.
- To complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant work instructions.
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure that your work area is kept safe, clean and tidy
- Comply with quality standards as set by the company
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to: health & Safety, Quality and Environment management.
- Ensure that all production paperwork tasks are completed correct.
- The post holder may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description. The particular duties and responsibilities attached to the post may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed. Such variations are a common occurrence and would not themselves justify the re-evaluation of the post.

Essential Criteria:

- The ability to work on one’s own initiative to achieve objectives, taking accountability for own work/actions
- The ability to communicate effectively, particularly verbally
- Confident in challenging existing practices and looking for continuous improvement in all areas of work
- Is able to work as part of a team to achieve team objectives
- Able to respond positively to changing work demands
- Takes decisive action to address and react to opportunities and problems in day to day work
- Is conscientious and thorough in all aspects of work responsibilities, and has a professional approach to work
- Double checks accuracy of own work

Desirable Criteria:

- Previous Production Operative experience would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
