My Dorset based client is currently recruiting for an Applications Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. As Applications analyst your duties include both day to day support, report writing and longer-term implementation of development/integrationprojects.
**Role: Applications Analyst**
**Location: Poole/ Hybrid**
**Salary: £32,000 pa - £34,000 pa**
**Start: ASAP**
**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience of Report Writing from a large information system, preferably with skills in MS Reporting Services and Business Intelligence (BI)
- Knowledge and experience of relational databases and writing SQL queries, ideally in a SQL Server environment
- Proven customer service skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills
- Integration experience would be a bonus, but not essential. We use MS Integration Services
- The ability to work and learn independently and manage their own projects
- Ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels both technical and non-technical with excellent written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised with an ability to cope with pressure at busy times and rapid changes in the priority of tasks
