We have an exciting opportunity available in one of the UK’s most up and coming and rapidly developing Cities.

We are looking to recruit two Consultant Psychiatrists in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry,

These are full-time posts, however, anyone wishing to work less than full-time is encouraged to apply. We previously had strong links with the University department, supporting a colleague who held an academic post.

There are three Locality Teams within Tayside CAMHS, covering each of the three local Authority areas in Tayside; Perth and Kinross, Dundee and Angus. The Perth and Kinross team works out of St Leonard’s Bank Clinic in Perth. Both the Dundee and Angus teams work out of the Centre for Child Health in Dundee. There are some satellite clinics held in Angus. The teams consist of Psychiatrists, Paediatricians, Clinical Psychologists and CAAPS, Systemic Therapists, CBT Therapists, Mental Health Nurses, AHPs and Clinical Support Workers. We have an integrated approach and provide the standard range of therapies and services within our two pathways, Mental Health and Neurodevelopmental. We are part of a teaching hospital with training commitments at all levels. We teach undergraduate medical students, provide placements for Core Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Nursing and are part of the National Programme for Higher Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training. We have an active continuous improvement programme working across the service and are supported by an Improvement Advisor who is embedded within our service.
