**ROLE SUMMARY**

Working alongside a range of internal teams and external partners, the Community Climate Action Lead will provide climate action expertise to Groundwork GM and:

- Grow our current climate action programmes which engage and empower communities and young people;
- Develop new climate action programmes, including those which can be embedded into provision not currently addressing climate change;
- Champion climate change activism internally across Groundwork GM and externally in networks and partnerships, sharing learning and drawing on international best practice.
