**About Our Client**:
The **Claims Advisor** will work closely with the Executive, Leadership and Operational Management Teams, managing and responding to claims in line with set requirements.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced claims handler to make a positive difference to the Blaenau Gwent community.

**The key responsibilities of the Claims Advisor**:

- Receive and review claims, assessing the level of coverage and determining the validity of the claim
- Maintain accurate records of claims and related activities
- Regular correspondence with legal representatives to support in achieving the objectives of the pre-action protocol.
- Oversee responses to compensation claims to ensure they are dealt with promptly.
- Liaise with appointed Insurance Broker to seek guidance and support
- Regular contact with claimants to keep them updated on the progress of their claims.
- Participate in working groups to review processes for continuous improvement.

- Experience working in claims handling or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of claims and prioritise tasks effectively
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with team members and clients
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
