Assistant Campus Support Officer

What should you expect from the role? Our job is to keep our students, staff and visitors safe from harm. Our aim is to ensure we have a welcoming, inclusive university community where people can safely study, work and live.
Our Campus Support team have to be the best they can be. Situations can change in a split second, so you need to be ready for anything, whether that¿s patrolling the busy areas of responsibility including a large city centre based campus, halls of residences and a remote veterinary teaching campus or talking with a student who is looking for advice or assistance whilst adjusting to the demands of university life and being away from the comforts of home. You will be expected to provide a comprehensive service for all campus users of the University, with daily contact with our customer base, responding to any emergencies that occur, investigating criminal activity, gathering intelligence or reassuring the university community, to ensure a welcoming, safe and secure campus by being proactive, approachable, supportive, vigilant and visible.
**About You**:
**Pay and Benefits**: - The starting salary for an Assistant Campus Support Officer is £23,389 per annum. - Additional to this you are given a rotating shift allowance of £4,210 per annum and a night allowance of £3,859 per annum
