**Warehouse Team Leader**

The Warehouse department is the "engine" of our operations here at Trading Depot UK.

We are looking for an experienced **Warehouse Team Leader** to provide excellent warehouse operational service and to promote this idea throughout the business and team.

Reporting to the General Manager, the goal is to keep the department running in an efficient, high standard and profitable manner. Ensuring all deadlines are meet as well as leading a team of up to 4.

In this fast paced, demanding role you will build relationships with not only your team and colleagues, but also our suppliers/manufacturers & couriers to ensure the department runs to the very high standards set.

This a senior role within in the business.

This role will be based in our Maidenhead depot.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth.
- Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
- Train and mentor all Warehouse operatives.
- Ensure inventories in area of responsibility are accurate.
- Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
- Support organising and participate in stock takes.
- Ensure that any computerised or automated systems are accurate and up to date.
- Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change.
- Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level.
- Produce regular reports and statistics as and when required.
- Ensure that health and safety meets the required standards and carry out risk assessments.
- Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
- Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose.
- Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse.
- Ensure staff comply to health and safely regulations and work safely to protect themselves and others in the warehouse environment.
- Ensure our customer collection counter is tidy at all times and all incoming customers are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency
- Analyse statistics and compile accurate and detailed weekly reports.
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities.

- Excellent knowledge of leadership methods and techniques.
- Professional & confident manner.
- The ability to maintain calm under pressure.

- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Forklift license (desirable but not essential).

**Salary**: From £23,500+ per year (negatable DOE)

Pay: From £23,500.00 per year
