Your Legal Secretaries are pleased to have partnered with a busy legal firm to appoint a general legal secretary.

**Main purpose of the role**:
**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Proof reading and correcting documents.
- Opening, maintaining and closing files in line with the firm's own internal processes.
- Diary management.
- Making and receiving phone calls and liaising with clients, other firms, banks, Land Registry, Barristers, Court Offices etc.
- Supporting other legal secretaries within the firm during busy periods.
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times.

**Your experience**:

- You will be a proficient audio typist
- You will have knowledge of conveyancing, matrimonial, litigation and probate
- You will have worked as a legal secretary for at least two years

**Additional Information**

Applications are welcomed from part time and full time legal secretaries. The firm will also provide the opportunity for the successful secretary to work from home for part of the week after initial training and induction into the firm has taken place.

Please note that the salary range indicated is purely indicative. Salary will be discussed at interview and will be competitive, depending on experience.
