Plant Nursery

**Horticultural worker-JBS Nurseries-Bampton, OX18 2AA**

£10.92 an hour, 39 hours a week

We are looking to recruit someone to work on our plant nursery just outside Bampton, OX18 2AA

To start work as soon as possible.

The job will require the ability to work effectively in a team, communicate effectively and use basic numeracy skills. If you are observant and practical this is a bonus.

The job is mainly outside but there is more than enough work in the tunnels to keep you occupied if it is raining so you very rarely get wet. There is plenty of variation of work throughout the year.

Jobs you will be helping with include: fertilising plants; skinning tunnels; potting; repairing woodwork; clearing beds; watering; loading orders; general maintenance and plant husbandry.

**Requirements**:

- Basic maths
- Ability to be organised
- Communicate effectively

Within your early employment you will need to pass the following:

- Fork lift license
- PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates

You will be sent on courses for these in which training is required.

The spray tests require very basic numeracy skills
