IT Apprentice

Our client is a Northampton based IT company, they specialise in refurbishing and selling a wide variety of IT products online, mostly through Amazon.uk/de/fr/it/etc. They have a growing team of people who work in production/and or general admin. Enthusiasticand committed to the business, but they are also able to have a laugh and a joke through the day, it’s a nice but challenging and engaging work environment.

Some key responsibilities you will have:

- Working with a wide range of leading IT hardware and carrying out configuration work, upgrades, and quality testing along with any problem troubleshooting and rectification.
- Doing software updates
- General business admin (marketing research, pricing items, gaining product knowledge)
- Cleaning and inspecting a variety of products - then packaging and sending them out to Amazon
- Testing a variety of products (RAM, GPUs, etc)
- The equipment you will be working on will include products from Industry leading brands such as Hewlett Packard, Lenovo, and DELL along with many more.
- The product categories will range from Desktop Pcs and Laptops through Gaming machines, Graphics Workstations, and Servers. Also, components, graphics cards, monitors, printers and networking equipment testing.
- You will also be helping prepare such products to be prepared to be shipped to custom or customer specifications and to be made ready for despatch.
- Help check good in, carry out stock checks and tracking
- Work with control system to complete production and other documentation required.
