Transport Planner

We have a vacancy for a competent, bright, motivated and quick-thinking individual required for small family-owned transport company based near Otley, West Yorkshire. You must have worked as a planner within a general haulage company and be familiar with the day-to-day operation of this type of role.
You will need to be able to deal with drivers, customers and suppliers in a professional manner, be able to think for yourself and take responsibility for the decisions you make. Being a small company means being able to turn your hand to pretty much anything with a ‘can do’ attitude.
This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday approximately 0800 - 1800 with alternate Saturday mornings. A full job description is available upon request.
Salary negotiable and dependent on experience.
