Vacancies have arisen for 2x Ophthalmology Clinical Administrative Officers within the Integrated Surgery Care Unit based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

These roles are permanent and we are looking to recruit
- 1x Monday and Tuesday 15hr position working 08:30 - 17:00 with a 1 hour lunch break.

1x Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 22.5hr position working 08:30 - 17:00 with a 1 hour lunch break.

Clinical Administrative Officers are responsible for a range of administrative support services to a group of clinical staff, have expected advanced skills commensurate with their responsibilities, work substantially independently, providing support of the highest quality, and taking leadership in their professional areas.

Knowledge of medical terminology and any office based training such as NVQ are also desirable.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is also close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, thus offering numerous choices for recreational activities and lifestyles.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by the queen in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
