**Job Title: Dental Nurse / Dental Receptionist**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including advance cosmetic and restorative dentistry, implants, and Invisalign.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Provide pre
- and post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide support to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Perform administrative tasks such as updating patient records, processing payments, and managing correspondence.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified Dental Nurse with certification (e.g., National Diploma in Dental Nursing or equivalent).
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Prior experience in a dental practice, preferably with a focus on advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
- Proficiency in dental software (R4) and basic computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the practice.
- Manage the appointment schedule, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services, procedures, and policies.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process patient payments and manage billing and insurance claims.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely appointments.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a dental or medical receptionist role preferred.
- Proficiency in dental software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Understanding of dental terminology and procedures is an advantage.

Pay: £12.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week
