Laser Setter

LSN Turbo UK Ltd are recruiting for a permanent role as Laser Operator at our UK site in Wombwell, Barnsley. This position is available on a permanent basis, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Programming software to cut materials as instructed via standard operation procedures, design drawings/blueprints, work orders, routine sheets.
- Scheduling at a pace in line with Company standards
- Setting and running of the machine.
- Loading/unloading of sheet steel/cut parts (including use of fork lift truck and overhead crane).
- Daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning of the machine
- Maintain throughput through area of production and escalate any issues swiftly to relevant supervisor to minimize downtime.
- Completion of accurate production records
- Experience of setting and operating laser machines
- Experience of working in lean manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and bill of materials
- Ability to work well under own supervision
- Flexibility to work shifts

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
