Water Recycling is at the heart of our operations. The key services that we are responsible for are delivered by our in-house, highly skilled workforce. We collect and treat the water that customers have used, returning it to the environment via rivers and coastal outlets. Our network includes 76,000 kilometres of sewers which feed over 1,000 water recycling centres. What will you be doing?

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be helping with the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of our Water Recycling sites across Norfolk and surrounding areas. You will carry out general repairs and investigate, diagnose and rectify faults with support from your wider team.

Key duties will include:

- Carrying out reactive work
- Investigating and repairing faults
- Safe operation and maintenance of all assets in line with Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Completing job sheets to a required standard
- Reporting back on asset condition
- Ensuring the availability of plant and equipment
- Organising contractors employed where required
- Procuring best value goods and services when required
- Ensuring all procurement procedures are adhered to including SAP and records maintained

What does it take to be an Electrical Maintenance Engineer?
- Possess either an industrial electrical or mechanical apprenticeship
- NVQ level 3 or 4 or equivalent (electrical or engineering maintenance) as well as one of the below:

- ONC/OND in electrical engineering
- City and Guilds Parts 1 &2 in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Proven electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment, along with a good working knowledge of industrial pumps, gearboxes, Hydraulics and other plant and equipment
- Strong awareness of health and safety
- Flexible and resilient approach to work- standby, training and adapting to the business needs when necessary
- Advocate of collaboration, someone who enjoys working as part of a team
- Full UK driving license
