We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of **Cook** to join our AMAZING team here at Beeches **Care Home** based in Chorley.

**Pay**: £11.75 to £12.50 an hour (depending on experience)

We were established in 1994 and class ourselves experts in dementia care, the Willows is a family run care home located in Coppull, a residential area in the City of Chorley.

The motto of the home is “Care with Dignity”. The staff at the home pride themselves in consistently maintaining this excellent standard. It drives every aspect of our approach to meet the everyday needs of the people that we care for.

We offer permanent Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care services. Respite care is available for people who need a period of recuperation, or to allow whoever is usually providing care to take a break.

**The role**

As our Cook you will play an important role in our busy, family-run care home, ensuring every mealtime we offer a range of well presented, healthy, balanced meals which our residents look forward to and enjoy eating.

You will be passionate about providing nutritious and appealing meals, creative and have a caring nature and a positive attitude, showing a desire to deliver the best possible standards for residents in our care.

You will be an energetic, friendly team player with good organisation and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure effectively.

You will be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach to residents with varying needs, tastes and dietary requirements.

You must have good awareness of the legislation to ensure compliance with Health & Safety in the kitchen, experience with developing nutritious menu's, staff rota and audit completion, managing the kitchen team while also being a team player with a genuine interest in working with our residents.
