De Pol Associates Ltd is a Chartered Town Planning Consultancy _based_ just outside the town of Leyland and Preston City, in Lancashire. For over 34 years we have built up a strong _client_ base covering a diverse range of projects across the whole of the UK, although focusing predominantly within the North West of England. We pride ourselves on our solid _client_ relationships, which have been developed through a very personal approach.
Our current portfolio covers multiple sectors, including residential, mixed-use, waste, industrial, leisure/tourism, rural, commercial and retail schemes. Our varied _client_ base includes local, regional and national developers, private landowners, national companies and individual homeowners.
Our offices are situated within attractive private grounds with free parking, only 5 minutes from the M6, M61 and M65 motorways, making us within easy reach of Manchester, Liverpool, Blackburn and Lancaster.
We are looking for a Senior/ Principal Planner to join our successful and established team, working on a range of projects. The successful applicant should have at least 5 years post graduate experience and be a member of the RTPI. Specifically, you will:
- Possess excellent knowledge of the planning system and related legislation,
- Have experience of project management include overseeing external consultants with regards to range of disciplines such as highways, site investigations, drainage, FRA’s, ecology, landscaping etc,
- Have good communication skills,
- Have excellent report writing skills and be able to _work_ under pressure and meet deadlines,
- Be able to build and develop relationships with new and existing clients.
