**HR Advisor**
**Salary**£30-35K
**Location-**Bury
Connections are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join an established IT reseller.As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for ensuring personnel files are kept up to date, maintaining absence records while supporting attendance, workingclosely with the internal leadership team providing advise and supporting staffing issues.
**Duties of the HR Advisor to include**:

- Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline HR processes and procedures.
- Ensuring the HR Database is up to date and records are accurate and fully completed.
- Responsible for administering HR-related documentation across the whole spectrum of employee lifespan within the business.
- Assist with the collation of personnel data for ad-hoc internal and external reporting purposes
- Maintain records of employee attendance at training sessions
- Responsible for regular timely communications to employees regarding upcoming events on the training calendar - monitoring and booking in responding employees where necessary.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure all recruitment is carried out according to company procedure and assisting with process including:

- Entry of job descriptions onto job boards
- Help to co-ordinate internal and external training and ensuring arrangements are effectively planned, organised and communicated as required
- Ensure line managers are supported with staff issues, providing prompt and accurate advice in accordance with employment law, statutory rules, and company policies and procedures.
- Provide advice and support in relation to disciplinaries, grievance, performance, capability and sickness issues.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies and procedures when required
- Ensure self and team comply with all legal, regulatory or data protection policies, procedures and processes.

**Skills required of the HR Advisor role will include**:

- Strong, proven administration skills
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Be comfortable working and communicating appropriately with people at all levels
- Demonstrate the ability to follow process and procedure and ensure others also adhere to them
- Display a helpful and positive ‘can-do’ attitude with a flexible outlook towards the duties of the role
- Be willing to learn and expand levels of knowledge within the HR & Training team
- CIPD Level 3 qualified would be beneficial but not essential
- Recruitment interviewing and assessment experience would be beneficial
- Development and implementation of employment policies and procedures.
- Ability to create HR communications appropriate for the audience
- Understanding of employee engagement
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly
- Pro-active and self-motivated
- Excellent attention to detail

**Reporting directly into Head of People and Culture, you will be required to**:

- Build and protect the company culture as they grow
- Champion core values, and make suggestions for how they can bring these to life throughout the employee experience
- Support new joiners and their managers through the pre-onboarding and onboarding process, and manage the processes for contractual changes and offboarding
- Seek ways to ensure external recognition for the company's commitment to their employees, through awards and accreditations
- Passion for maintaining a great culture where people love to work, and ability to continuously make recommendations for improving the experience of team members
- Require to work from southern based office two days per month
