Our client based in New Milton has an immediate requirement for an experienced Stores Person to join their busy warehousing team on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the job role will be the receipt of finished goods and materials, kitting of jobs for production, issuing stock from the stores, stock checks and counting.
You will be required to liaise closely with the production and quality departments in all stores related matters including but not limited to:
- Ensure all company standards and Health & Safety protocols are strictly adhered to at all times.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure a clear understanding of the business and departmental objectives is present at all times via the use of company systems and procedures.
- On a daily basis ensure all stock items are effectively booked into stock, put away correctly, with job shortages cleared in good time.
- Ensure the management of stock is accurately maintained via the use of company ERP system
- Stock is despatched as per customer requirements on time, or packed and stored correctly.
- Be prepared to be flexible in order to meet company deadlines as per the needs of the business
Your level of experience isn’t the only requirement, we are also looking for commitment, quality and work ethic as a key to being successful within this team and the company.
Core working hours will be:
Mon - Thurs 07:30 am - 16:30 pm
Fri 07:30 am - 12:30 pm
You will get 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, and the ability to purchase one additional week’s holiday during Oct - Nov for the following holiday year.
