Credit Risk Manager

**The company**

A well-established, award-winning Motor Finance organisation are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to assist with the business's continued growth and expansion. They have become one of the UK's largest Fintechs in a short space of time and withsuch a large focus on innovation, technology, quick decisions and competitive finance packages - your new organisation is on an upwards trajectory.

**Key Aspects of the Role**:

- Interfacing with all other areas of the business
- Using analytics to build and develop new and existing strategies
- Creation and assessment of new credit scorecards
- Second-line approver of credit proposals
- Providing support for new funding facilities
- Preparing monthly reports and gathering materials for credit committee meetings
- Macro modelling and assessing the impact on the loan portfolio
- Reviewing portfolio trends and KPIs
- Providing risk consultancy to other areas of the business
- Reporting findings to senior management and Board level

**Knowledge, skills, and experience**
- Analytical mindset - spotting trends and patterns
- A natural intellectual curiosity
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit - taking ownership and can work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; you are comfortable talking, and internalising and can simplify when needed.
- Passionate about delivering a high-quality experience to third parties
- Desire to work in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment with a “start-up” fee
- You have the drive to learn and continually develop your skills and abilities
- Willing to step outside the role to achieve wider business objectives
- Proven experience in credit risk management, (preferably) of secured retail loan portfolios
- Great understanding of credit policy governance framework and core credit concepts such as PD, LGD, and EAD
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Familiar with SQL
- IFRS9 experience is a bonus
- Python/R modeller
- Score carding experience

Driving liscence is not required however is helpful due to office location.

3 Days in Office.
