**Our Cambridgeshire client is the world leader in their field with their stunning innovative products.**

We are seeking a **Quality Manager** (hybrid working) to join the Engineering Department, reporting directly to the Engineering Director. You will be responsible for the quality assurance processes, procedures. This will be a broad role, interfacingwith all members of the Engineering, Production, Sales and Marketing teams, other internal stakeholders and external third parties delivering consultancy, inspection, testing and control, and documentation.

**The role will be diverse and will cross over into technical product management, however, specific responsibilities include**:

- Planning and execution of corrective action activities related to both initial qualification and on-going management of the Quality Management System.
- Ensure that a document control procedure is maintained to approve, review and record all changes to critical documents within the Quality Management System.
- Provide for the identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention time and disposition of such records.
- Ensure that the performance of the Quality Management System is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. This review means assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for changes to the system.
- Ensure that top management undertakes periodic assessments of customer satisfaction and consequent improvements are identified and implemented.
- Ensure that an internal audit programme is adopted to verify that the Quality Management System conforms to planned arrangements.
- Co-ordinate continual improvements of the Quality Management System, ensuring that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed.

- evaluated and that records of this assessment are maintained.
- Support supplier improvement through monitoring and reporting of supplier quality performance.

**Skills, Experience and Knowledge** (required as a minimum):

- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of ISO9001 / QMS
