**Veterinary Receptionist**

**Salary: £11.44 per hour**

**Location: Park Vet Group, Saffron Lane (1/6 Saturdays at Glenfield site)**

**Job Type: Permanent, Part-time**

**Hours: 25 hours per week**

**Shift Pattern: Monday 8:00-19:00, Tuesday 8:00-13:00, Thursday 14:00-19:00 Friday 8:00-13:00. **Bank holidays on a rota.**

We are currently seeking a new receptionist to join our fantastic team here at Park Vet Group

The position will best suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming and registering new customers.
- Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold standard care
- Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries
- Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
- Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
- Taking payments
- Promoting offers and services
- Remaining calm, courteous and professional at all times, regardless of a client or visitor’s behaviour.

**Experience required**:

- A minimum of 12 months’ experience dealing with customers in a customer facing role.
- Reception or Client Care experience
- Cash handling and till operation
- IT skills - confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
- Knowledge of client-based computer system and using a multiple line software-based telephone system
- English and Maths GCSE and good general education
- Any form of client care/ Veterinary receptionist qualification
