The People Consultant position is a new and pivotal role for Pendragon PLC. As People Consultant, you’ll be joining the HR team, reporting directly to the Head of People Consultants.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Organisation and Culture Transformation programme, which is driving change in Pendragon PLC. You will work across a complex and fast changing landscape, defining the employee journeys that will influence the future operating model of the organisation. This will require partnering with senior stakeholders (board level and below) throughout the process.
**So, what’s it all about, the role**:
- You’ll coordinate and facilitate workshops to define the current and future state employee journey, then identify and define core KPI data metrics to measure performance, which you will track and monitor across the HR portfolio.
- You will be responsible for developing new employee journey maps, as needed, to support the change development and delivery, whilst being able to provide insight on how the employee experience will be impacted by the changes.
- You will also be required to evaluate the top-level impact on the customer journey processes and customer experience, in addition to the impact on employees.
- Working with cross-functional teams, you will ensure delivery of value streams, business processes and business change management.
- You will plan and deliver workshops and meetings to achieve outcomes which will support the delivery of the new purpose and culture strategy of Pendragon PLC.
- You will liaise with management, ensuring that service and process objectives are delivered effectively, then fully cascade the outcome of projects so that the actionable insights are clearly delivered.
- You will be confident in supporting the training/quality and business SMEs in defining training needs arising from the business requirements, then contributing to the Lessons Learned process.
**What are we looking for, the person**:
- You’ll have a deep understanding and experience of the coordination and design of employee journey mapping, working closely with strategic training and culture projects, employee engagement, reward and diversity projects. Knowledge and experience of providing advice on the delivery of business change management would be an advantage.
- You will be comfortable with analysing data and providing advice on data management best practices and governance, as required, alongside helping support colleagues to implement, use and compile data to promote evidence-based decision making.
- You’ll have a core skill set in business analysis and/or customer journey mapping and be comfortable to act as a role model for customer centricity.
- You will be confident in ensuring resources across Pendragon are directed towards value-added activities that support strategic priorities.
- You will be comfortable in providing guidance and support on operational processes to support the delivery of business priorities.
- You’ll be a self-starter with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and deadlines.
- You’ll be an exceptional communicator who will clearly and concisely liaise with business users at all stages of the employee journey, identifying and articulating risks and project issues to the Customer Delivery Partner and the Project Manager.
- You’ll have the tenacity and drive to succeed, with the ability to use creativity and initiative to ensure the delivery of a stretching strategy.
