**About the role**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our large, supportive and friendly team within our Trauma and Orthopaedic Wards as a Band 7 Senior Sister at Noble’s Hospital on the beautiful Isle of Man. Our Trauma and Orthopaedic Wards serve patients with a variety of needs, including elective surgery, urgent orthopaedic conditions and major trauma.
This dynamic role is responsible for the leadership and management of the team and providing senior support for the day to day running of Manx Care’s emergency orthopaedic inpatient service. You will be supported by colleagues and our cohesive multi-professional team to lead our dedicated team of outstanding Nurses, who deliver high quality, patient-centred orthopaedic care.
As Senior Sister, you will have 24-hour responsibility for managing all aspects of patient care delivery and resources within the Wards. You will also play a key leadership role during periods of high demand, such as TT fortnight.

Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
