**Becoming aCloud Security Architectwith Smart DCC**:
This is a really exciting opportunity to secure an initial 6 months contract as a Cloud Security Architect on a large, complex Cloud transformation programme. The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for creating a high-level cloud security architecturealigned with CTO cloud strategy and being the SME for Cloud Security architecture matters. The Cloud Security Architect can be based from London or Manchester on a relaxed, hybrid working model.

**What you’ll be doing**:

Collect business requirements for cloud security improvements
Create a high-level cloud security architecture aligned with CTO cloud strategy and the roadmap to implement the architectural building blocks
Identify gaps in current cloud architecture, indicate areas of initial, urgent and prioritised action and define process requirements to support this model
Interface with DCC business stakeholders to communicate progress across the board
Define and draft policies and procedures aligned with DCC Security strategies
Leading technical meetings with service providers

**What we’re looking for**:

- Extensive experience as a Cloud Security Architect working in complex environments, multi-cloud deployments and digital transformation from on-prem to hybrid/full cloud models
- Experience processing conflicting project requirements into a strategic framework and drive delivery with several diverse stakeholders.
- Be able to demonstrate a logical approach to delivery of components and show a roadmap with dependencies, business requirements and next steps required from additional stakeholders.
- Must have experience as a consultant or architect reporting into C-level. Must be able to understand and explain Security Strategy in detail, and justify why strategic decisions are made, even when it means delaying tactical decisions that could show quickwins or progress
- They must be able to demonstrate a technical background, and understanding of a full suite of security components, their risk reduction capabilities, and interdependencies in an enterprise environment
- Any relevant AWS or Azure security architecture certifications would be beneficial
