**Salary: £25,000 - £28,600 depending on experience**

**Hours: Mon - Fri | 6am - 4pm (times can be negotiated)**

**Based: Caldecote, Baldock, SG7 5GE**

**Warehouse Operative**

We’re in a fast paced industry and are looking for somebody looking for a new challenge who would relish being in charge of your own warehouse where you set your own standards.

This is a multi site role where perhaps being stuck in a warehouse every day isn’t your thing. This hybrid role includes three main roles:

- Warehouse (80% of role)
- Occasional on-site marquee installation (5% of role)
- PAT Testing (15% of role)

**What your role will include**:

- Following all H&S processes and procedures. Ensuring safety is the first priority in everything that we do.
- Cleaning & maintaining our stock to ensure all stock is ready to be used for upcoming events
- Weekly checks on all of our vehicles ensuring they’re in a safe working condition
- Daily checks of our forklift ensuring it’s in a safe working condition
- Pre packing/palletising stock ready to be loaded into the vans for the following days work
- Working with our marquee installers unloading stock from our vans and making sure it’s stored back in the right place
- Ensuring the yard stays in a good working order so we are as operationally efficient as possible
- Occasional on-site marquee work (covering marquee installers’s staff illness/holidays)
- PAT testing of our own equipment and also PAT testing other sites (we also have a PAT testing company and there will be off-site PAT testing within under your role too)

Somebody who takes pride in working in a clean, efficient and tidy environment is the ideal person on who we are looking for. Someone who would get buzz out of their accomplishments at the end of their working day.

We have just moved into a 7000sqm storage unit and we own lots of marquees, flooring, furniture, lighting & heating systems that all need maintaining to pristine order to uphold our premium level of service we are known for (we’re very proud to say we’re the highest reviewed events Company in the UK - so we have high standards in how we conduct ourselves)

If you have prior warehousing, electrical or DIY skills this would put you an advantage when applying. If you do have any such skills or experience please let us know.

The Warehouse Person will be required to lift and move heavy objects on a regular basis. This is a full-time position with regular hours 6am - 4pm Monday through Friday.

Due to the location your own transport is a must.

**Experience**:
Forklift Truck Drivers: 1 year (required)

PAT Testing Qualification (Not essential - training with be provided)
