**Nursery Room Leader - **Edinburgh (EH4)**

**(38 Hour Contract)**

**Salary range from £27,000 - £28,650k **(dependent on experience and qualifications)**

**£1000 Starter Bonus**

We are looking for a Toddler/Preschool Nursery Room Leader to join an award winning organisation that provides quality Early Years care across their South England and Scotland settings.

**You will need**:

- Full & relevant Early Years qualification with a minimum of 3 years working in a Nursery Setting and at least 1 years experience in a leadership role
- Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
- The ability to build strong, nurturing relationships with parents and children
- A passion for childcare and child development and making a difference to the community
- The ability to plan and lead stimulating and educational activities, while adhering to Early Years Foundation Stage standards
- Promote respect and credibility for this position by leading as a role model with impartiality and consistency
- Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the Curriculum for Excellence are met
