**The Bookkeeper Role - Part Time.**

The Bookkeeper role is a new addition to the Groups structure and is required due to recent growth and future growth planned. The role is required initially for 20-24hrs per week which is likely to increase over time. We are flexible in terms of your work pattern; however, you will be required to work during office hours and mainly from the office so you can liaise with the Management Team. Your prime responsibilities are to manage the company payroll process, complete fortnightly invoicing and to assist in gaining/chasing payments where necessary.

This team is a busy team that requires committed, driven and tenacious team members. The postholder must have experience in Bookkeeping, have great attention to detail, a good understanding of Sage and be comfortable with credit control.

**Job summary**

The postholder is responsible for managing the company payroll, invoicing and credit control.

Essential functions of the position
- Managing Payroll
- Invoicing

- Exceptional customer service skills whilst dealing with Carers and or Clients
- Experience in using Sage and other a consultative sales approach in a high value service environment.
- Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to deal with difficult conversations when they arise.

- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Be a positive, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, accuracy & attention to detail are key.
- Possess empathy and understanding for customers that are often going through a challenging time.
- Ensuring the Group brand is positioned in a professional way.
