Here at Darwin Clayton, we are seeking a **Commercial Account Handler (Client Advisor) **to join our Commercial Insurance team at our Tunbridge Wells office.

Working hours: 9-5 Monday to Friday (we also offer a hybrid working approach following the initial training period).

Reporting into the Assistant Commercial Manager, the main purpose of the role is to deliver customer service excellence to our commercial clients, handling new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments for their commercial insurance risks.

Darwin Clayton (Part of the Jensten Group) is a specialist, multi-award-winning insurance broker. We specialise in arranging tailored insurance solutions for a wide range of contractors, including cleaning contractors, Facilities management companies, and electrical contractors.

**Key objectives & responsibilities will include**:

- Providing customer service excellence to existing clients and new clients
- Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, claims notifications, collecting of premiums and all other client queries
- Seeking and realising cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA & Consumer Duty
- Assisting in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions

**About you**

As a Client Advisor, you’ll have experience of handling clients within the Insurance Industry and good have a knowledge of products. You’ll have the drive and motivation to achieve and exceed team targets whilst delivery excellent service to your clients.

You will also be or have:

- Thorough knowledge of general insurance and underlying principles
- Excellent customer service and communications skills
- Confident and effective telephone skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- The ability to prioritise and organise own workload
- The ability to work supportively and jointly with colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines when required
- Computer skills: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Relevant qualifications (e.g Cert CII) or working towards
