A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planner to join an established and forward thinking organisation. You will spend the majority of your week on site to ensure that the project plans are achievable and accurately tracked and updated.

**The Role: Senior Planner**
- Liaising with Design Managers, Project Managers and the procurement department throughout the project;
- Take ownership and enable project management to control the progress of contracts by identifying and producing integrated programmes of work. This includes design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover;
- Monitoring performance against plans, identifying problem areas;
- Help the project team reduce company risk by identifying the critical path for contracts;
- Enable resource planning and levelling by appropriate resource analysis of contracts
- Detailed knowledge of the NEC contract and programme requirements;
- Lead the planning section at meetings and ensure the relevant parties are aware of the progress;
- Assist the wider Planning team with general duties, this could also include training;
- Build and maintain relationships across the business and project.
- 5+ years of Planning experience;
- 2+ years of experience as a Senior Planner;
- Experience using P6 or MS;
- Detailed knowledge of NEC contracts;
- Civil Engineering, Water, or Construction experience required;
- Full UK drivers licence.
