Greenwood Work Tutor

''**MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB**
- To deliver and support individuals and groups with traditional and greenwood work skills and training.
- Give additional support to young people and adults who may have barriers to employment such as ALN, confidence, mental health or behavioural issues from 14+
- Manage administration of the organisations systems, procedures and responsibilities.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Experience in greenwood work or traditional woodland skills.
- A passion for working with people and helping them progress.
- Be patient and have strong communication skills.
- Be professional and a good role model.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Be responsible for developing and delivering the planned curriculum
- Promote sustainable use of natural resources.
- Ensure safe working practices are adhered to by learners.
- Be involved in mentoring learners and building their confidence and capabilities.
- Supporting learners to overcome barriers by implementing a range of different strategies, approaches and interventions.
- Adhere to the safeguarding and behaviour policies.
- Ensure learners follow H+S guidelines and Normal Operating procedures
- Create an individual learning plan that takes into consideration all learner needs and expectations.
- Review progress and attendance and support people into their next steps.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
