**Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) **has an exciting opportunity available for an **Applications Technical Lead** to join our team in **Maidstone. **You will join us on a **full-time, permanent basis, **and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£47,076 - £52,397 **per annum.**

**Being an Applications Technical Lead**

**What you'll do**:

- Directing a team of passionate and knowledgeable professionals, ensuring effective resource allocation and performance management across a broad spectrum of projects
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers, suppliers and other IT teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
- Working with the Applications Manager in the development of the business plan in line with business requirements and the IT Service Plan
- Proactively monitoring product roadmaps, identifying functionality that would benefit the Service and recommending timeframes for upgrading
- Ensuring transition of knowledge to enhance the teams’ technical abilities and increase their first-time fix rates

**What you'll bring**:

- Relevant practical experience within a similar work environment
- Experience of working directly with customers and stakeholders to improve services
- Confidence to be able to influence and support improvements to both internal and external services
- Ability to work on own initiative
