We are looking for a Data manager for a permeant opportunity within Education in the Windsor / Slough area. This role is a full time post and is NOT Term Time Only.

You will be responsible for:

- S/he shall maintain and update information held on school systems including changes to student and staff rolls, address and contact information, timetable changes, assessment and examination data records.
- S/he shall co-ordinate the collection, entry and extraction of data required to ensure statutory returns are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- S/he shall organise the processing and inputting of data received at annual admission periods such as primary/secondary transfer.
- S/he shall provide instructions to and/or assist teachers as required, liaising with them in relation to missing data.
- S/he shall import, amalgamate and match data from the LA, the DfE and external agencies, and from different databases e.g. ensuring school census is correct completed.
- S/he shall set up and maintain archive files and historical data as well as carrying out specific download requests for data.
- S/he shall ensure data is safely transferred when school systems are introduced and/or changed.
- S/he shall liaise with other schools in order to follow up missing data.
- S/he shall design user friendly reports to meet the needs of the school.
- S/he shall oversee the production of student reports as per the school calendar and other requirements such as annual reviews and target setting.
- S/he shall provide support to ensure that school timetable information and changes are inputted and timetables printed as required.

A DBS will required for this role.
