We are currently recruiting for an experienced **Semi CNC/Manual Turner** to join us at busy and exciting time; This is a permanent, full-time position, working within a friendly and supportive team. **We are looking for a CNC Turner on Days and another for Nights.**

**What will the role involve?**
- Working on a Mazak CNC Lathe daily, machining to strict tolerances
- Inspect parts to determine if the product meets quality/ customer specifications, taking appropriate action concerning parts that are not to customer/quality standards
- Ensure the timely production of parts to pre-determined deadlines.
- Take an active role in company initiatives such as continuous improvement, quality initiatives and new manufacturing systems and processes as they are introduced.
- Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment
- Trains incoming operators on processes and procedures
- To ensure that all work carried out complies with health and safety requirements as laid down by the company and by external bodies.
- From time to time, to take on roles and responsibilities as reasonably required for the immediate needs of the Company.

**What will you require?**
- Be an experienced Engineer/Machinist/Toolmaker with a proven track record in the relevant industry.
- Experienced in CNC Turning using Mazaks
- Time-Served is desirable, but not essential
- Be a Self-motivated team player
- Ability to operate with the minimum of supervision
- Experience in reading Engineering Drawings
- Excellent time management skills and able to prioritise your workload
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with employees at all levels
- IT literate

*Please be aware that the hours for Nights is 42 hours per week and we do pay a night shift premium.
