_Level 3 Nursery Practitioner ( 4days work cycle)_

Are you looking for somewhere to have fun, lots of laughter and sometimes asked personal questions you may not feel comfortable answering? Our nursery school has been looking for you.

We are looking for practitioners that have experience supporting children 6 months -5 years old. You will get the opportunity to spend lots of time with the small children you work with building strong relationships even though they may utterly refuse to speak to you when they see you in the shops. Try not to take this personal.

You must support, monitor and have a good understanding of children's learning and development by sometimes pretending to eat wooden food realistically in the role play area, eating pretend food made out of playdough while consuming numerous cups of pretend tea.

You must be able to observe, plan, assess and implement children's next steps in an environment that sometimes look it has been hit by a tornado and still be able to remain focused even with the very high noise-levels.

You will liaise and work in partnership with parents to support child's learning and growth, giving a warm genuine smile while discussing the child. This is essential as every child must feel special and loved.

You must provide a caring, nurturing, fun and thriving environment for the children, laughing at jokes you do not understand or find funny as the little ones humour could be a minefield to understand.

You may be working in the babies or preschool room so you have to be comfortable discussing bodily functions, have a strong sense of smell to enable you respond to said bodily functions promptly.

Have a vast knowledge of the EYFS and its implementation. This will include singing even if it is out of tune, enduring multiple interruptions when reading a story, authentically showing interest in anything being discussed.

Being creative, innovative and progressive when it comes to children's learning is a requirement which may sometime involve becoming a princess or superhero immediately on request without any notice and you will be the best character you can be.

Multitasking is essential, listening to multiple children speak at the same time and possessing the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people is of utmost importance, both indoors and outdoors.

You must be able to work as part of a team. Be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many small ones and their families. There is simply no other job quite like this one.
