**What you'll work on**

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Financial Support Officer to join our client's team and deliver a range of financial support services to the FleetCare service. In this role, you will work closely with the FleetCare management team to provide excellent support in areas such as procurement, payments, accounting, and financial management. You will also assist with the preparation of budgets and budget monitoring, and be responsible for cash control and accounting, banking arrangements, credit and debit card arrangements, cheque reconciliation and control, and ensuring all supplier invoices are processed on time.

As the Fleetcare champion for Oracle One prior and post implementation, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation and make a meaningful impact on our organization. You will also produce all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on behalf of Fleet Management.

**A few things to note**
- The rate for this role is £23.34 per hour Umbrella
- The term for this role is for 3 months initially

**What we're looking for**

We want someone who is professional, committed to customer service, flexible, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality. You should have good organisational skills and be willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends to maintain service delivery. Please note that this post is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974).

**KNOWLEDGE**:

- Able to understand and interpret a wide range of financial data.
- Knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act and the Data Protection Act
- Understanding of the importance of performance management and achieving business efficiency

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Experience of using financial and budgetary information
- Experience of using Microsoft office packages
- Experience of organising meetings including agenda management and taking action notes.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Ability to make an effective contribution to service planning
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage a significant and varied workload with competing demands
