On behalf of our client school in Walkden, Salford, Tradewind are recruiting a Year 5 Teacher to begin in January and run until the end of the year. The school will pay a salary of between M1 and M6. This would be the perfect opportunity for a teacher toshowcase their teaching skills in a fantastic school.

**Year 5 Teacher Roles and Responsibilities**
- Teach a class of pupils ensuring progress and development
- Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom
- Contribute to constructive team building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and governors
- Implement agreed school policies and guidelines with special reference to teaching and learning
- Plan appropriately to meet the needs of all pupils, through differentiation of tasks
- Be able to set clear targets, based on prior attainment, for pupils' learning including those with additional needs

Provide a stimulating classroom environment, where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils
- Maintain good order and discipline amongst pupils, in accordance with the school's behaviour policy
- Participate in meetings which relate to the school's management, curriculum, administration, or organisation
- Lead, organise and direct support staff within the classroom
- Actively develop a partnership with parents, other schools, the local community and businesses
- Any such further reasonable direction to you, not covered above will be the responsibility of the Headteacher or their delegated authority.

**Year 5 Teacher Essential Requirements**
- QTS (or equivalent)
- Professional references covering recent teaching experience
- Provide CV covering full employment history with any gaps explained
- Have a right to work in the UK.
