We are seeking a qualified HR Advisor to join our team at Saltire Facilities Management. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions and contributing to the overall success of our organization. You will provide HR advice and assistance to employees and management, ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide HR guidance to employees and management on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and workplace policies.
- Maintain and update HR records and employee documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with management to address employee performance issues and support in implementing performance improvement plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current laws and best practices.
- Assist with employee onboarding and induction to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (new starts, leavers, absence/sick pay, changes to t&c’s)
- Manage employee absences, escalate triggers & arrange medical reports/ occupational health referrals when appropriate
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and mediation, to maintain a positive work environment.
- Produce and present reports regularly to management team (time off, training, employee information, disciplinary etc)
- Keep up-to-date with relevant employment laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Assist in organizing employee training and development programs.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an HR advisory role, preferably in the facilities management industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
