Are you a Cornwall based Building Surveyor looking for your next opportunity?

We are working in partnership with a Housing association to recruit for an interim Building Surveyor to work with their team to deliver high-quality maintenance services to customers.

They are looking for you to be able to
- Provide professional and technical advice
- Provide regular and professional communication and liaison with customers and key stakeholders in relation to works instructed and managed by the service
- You would take full responsibility and manage all assigned cases from start-to-finish in a professional and efficient manner whilst ensuring that appropriate stakeholders and appropriate databases are updated regularly.
- Ensure budget responsibilities are met, feeding into forecasting and efficiency plans as required
- Prepare and present reports for managers
- Manage a range of contractors, ensuring they deliver in accordance with their contract and KPI's To find out more about the role please take a look at the role profile.

You should have
- Relevant HNC/HND and/or membership of a relevant professional body i.e. RICS, CIOB etc
- Extensive experience of building surveying and specific experience of building maintenance, preferably within a social housing context
- Successful record of managing an extensive, complex and varying caseload, with projects from inception to completion
- Demonstrable experience and skills managing customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer care and satisfaction
