**About Age Concern Hampshire**

Age Concern Hampshire provides a number of high-quality services that support older people in Hampshire. These include the provision of Day Care Centres, assisting NHS patients with Hospital to Home Services, provision of Information Services and the recently launched Help in the Home Service. We have around 100 employees and 60 volunteers with a turnover of £2M supporting older clients throughout Hampshire.

**About the role**

The CEO reports to the Board of Trustees who are responsible for Oversight and Governance. The Trustees will support the Director in Strategy, Finance, Project Management, Commercial and HR. Previous experience of working collaboratively with Trustees would be beneficial.

The role is based in Locks Heath Southampton with a flexibility of working from home and from other locations in Hampshire, there is also flexibility on the number of days worked within the anticipated 37.5 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**

The main responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To lead the Charity in a time of change post Covid, working with the Trustee’s to ensure a long-term strategy is in place so that the Charity delivers its charitable objectives into the future.
- Provide effective management of the Charity.
- Create opportunities for growth.
- Responsible to the Board of Trustees for the operational and financial performance of the Charity; ensuring expenditure is controlled in line with budgets.
- Ensure the Charity discharges its constitutional and legal obligations.
- Provide strong professional leadership.
- Ensure the values of the Charity are lived across the organisation.

**Qualifications**
- Degree of equivalent experience
