Trainee Estimator

My client is a specialist supplier of industrial garages and fire doors to commercial clients across the UK based out of Hunslet, Leeds. They are an established company looking to grow extensively within the next five years; they are also part of a larger group of companies. They are looking for a dynamic person to join their team as a trainee Estimator and to take control of a lead from enquiry through to completion (They have operational staff that will install the product. This is a great opportunity for somebody with Sales experience, Estimating, a recent graduate or surveying experience.

**The job responsibilities of the Trainee Estimator**

Take control of an enquiry that will have been derived from word of mouth, website enquiry, and marketing strategies.

Ask questions to understand what they are looking for.

Ask for measurements if small enquiry.

Go out and take measurements.

Sell the product to the client and close the deal.

Collect a deposit.

Liaise with a drawing company, get them to sketch out drawings and send over to client.

Send measurements to Manufacturers.

Liaise with the client and manufacturers on installation dates.

Plan the schedule of Installers and liaise with them to ensure correct installation.

Collect Payment.

Work in a small team within a bigger group of businesses.

Basic Salary between £23-£28k (Will negotiate higher for somebody who has more relevant experience or can offer the business more)
