We are currently recruiting experienced Nurses / Paramedics to join our multi-disciplinary clinical team within the Emergency Operations Centres (EOC).

*Our Emergency Operations Centres are made up of the following staff groups:*
- Emergency Medical Dispatchers (999 Call Takers)
- Dispatchers
- EOC Triage Clinicians

Who all work collaboratively to ensure our patients receive the most appropriate medical intervention, guidance and support at their time of need.

*The EOC Clinical Team is a multi-disciplinary team made up of:*
- Nurses
- Midwives
- Mental Health Practitioners
- Paramedics
- Specialist Practitioners
- Doctors
- Clinical Learning & Development Officers

*Main duties of the job*
- *What is an EOC Triage Clinician?*_

An EOC Triage Clinician provides a robust remote clinical assessment and triage of all patients and service users who contact 999. Alongside this, our Clinicians work alongside our Emergency Medical Dispatchers and Dispatch colleagues to provide acute medical advice and guidance to ensure every patient is getting the right care at the right time.

Within the EOC, we have a team of highly experienced Clinical Learning & Development Officers who are committed and dedicated to ensuring our clinical workforce are continually learning and developing on all aspects of clinical practice.

Alongside this, we provide all clinicians with an education bursary to enhance your knowledge, skills and expertise. This bursary can be used to fund short-courses and or towards an official qualification such as MSC or MBA.

Depending on your career ambitions, we also offer great career development opportunities either clinically or operational leadership.

*Qualifications*

*Essential*
- Registered Healthcare Professional.
- Qualification or appropriate experience in basic computer literacy, including data input.
- Portfolio of current, relevant practice.

*Desirable*
- Remote Decision Making module or equivalent
- Experience with telephone triage
- Appropriate degree level or equivalent qualification?

*Previous experience*

*Essential*
- Experience in dealing with a range of age and social groups
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Experience as a healthcare professional.(LowCode license requires 4 years post registration experience)
- Understanding of the wider health care community within the context of remote care

*Desirable*
- Previous experience with telephone triage
- Previous experience working in different healthcare settings.

**Salary**: £33,706.00-£40,588.00 per year

- Night shift
