Summer Cover Fryer

_Summertime cover needed for FRYER _
We are looking for someone with a **minimum of a year's experience cooking in a commercial kitchen. **It is not necessary that you have fish frying experience as we will show you how we've been successfully frying fish for 12 years.

We do require that you **live in Torquay **and hold a Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate or be prepared to obtain one.

**Frying fish and chips is not rocket science but it is important to stick to some basic principles and not cut corners**

We have a 3 pan Middleton Range and cook food freshly to order. You would also be able to look after the behind the scenes duties of rumbling and chipping 56lb sacks of potatoes, fish cutting, organising stock, receiving orders etc, and keeping prep areas and cooking areas clean, adhering to all food safety regulations to maintain our 5* hygiene rating.

Benefits and Salary

We offer 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year (pro-rata) and higher rates of pay at the weekends.
- No split shifts
- We don't work on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, and paid holiday is also given in January when we close for essential range servicing and maintenance.
- Daytime shift begins at 10.00am
- No late nights beyond 10.30pm maximum
