**Salary**:Business Support Scale 3, points 15-16**

**£7866.88 - £8207.43 per annum (Actual Salary)**

**Contract: NSG Business Support, Full Time, Permanent**

**Hours**:37 hours per week**

**Pension: NEST Pension**

**Holidays: 30 per annum plus statutory bank holidays**

**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as Senior Stores Clerk - Catering & Vending.

As part of the role there is extensive manual handling duties, both in the main store and across the campus, all of which must be carried out in line with current Health & Food Safety legislation. The shift pattern is set 5/7 to cover the diverse service delivery needs, and can include early mornings, late evenings, and possible weekend work.
- To hold a Basic Certificate in Food Hygiene - Desirable.
- Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards.
- A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant area or be willing to work towards
- Current experience of working in a food preparation and service environment, with responsibilities for food preparation and service.
- Experience of working within a large busy catering team.
- As appropriate and relevant to skills and abilities defined above.
- Must have the relevant skills to prepare, cook and serve a wide variety of dishes to a high standard.
- To have the ability to organise time and tasks to achieve the businesses service requirements.
- To have the ability to assist in the instruction of other team members with confidence when required to do so.
