We will provide you with opportunities to work across these different work streams and you will join the vibrant and extensive DfT analytical community.

**Job description**:
You will join the Maritime and Supply Chain Analysis (MASCA), a multi-disciplinary team where you will deliver expert analytical advice to policy colleagues across Maritime, Logistics and Borders and our International Division. Your analysis will underpin key policy decisions and associated investment decisions.

MASCA is one of six Grade 6-led teams within the Aviation, Maritime, and Borders Analysis (AMBA) Division. AMBA is a multi-disciplinary analytical division with around 65 high-performing team members who provide expertise on modelling, economic analysis, statistical analysis, operation research, social research and advice on appraisal and evaluation to shape strategic thinking and policy development.

AMBA is at the heart of some of DfT’s priority policy areas, including:

- Delivering analysis to shape the development and implementation of Government policy to decarbonise the maritime sector;
- Delivering analysis to shape implementation of the Maritime 2050 strategy to ensure the UK maritime sector can remain competitive in a global market, while tackling its environmental impacts;
- Developing new transport specific analysis on international trade; and
- Supporting the Department’s work on transport security and resilience.
