We are looking for Relief Support Workers to join our fantastic Outreach Team working in the North Tyneside area.
Join us as a Relief Support Worker and help to make great things happen in the lives of adults with learning disabilities. This Role comes with full training, generous rewards, real career progression prospects and genuine job satisfaction.
**What you would be doing**:
This is a responsible role which is really varied, sometimes challenging and often fun. The job is all about giving people encouragement, guidance and support so they can live as independently as possible, make their own choices and do the things they enjoy.
On a daily basis, you may be involved in supporting people with the following activities:
- Cooking
- Cleaning
- Washing
- Managing Finances
- Shopping
- Going on holiday/ Days out
- Travelling to and from work
And much more
**What we need from you**:
We are not looking for specific skills or experience as we provide full training, however excellent communication and people skills are a must
A full UK Drivers Licence would be beneficial.
Most of our roles involve elements of weekend and evening work as well as sleep in shifts (for which you will be paid) which means flexibility is required.
