An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children’s Services Immunisation Team Coordinator to join the East Children’s Immunisation Team. The post holder will be jointly responsible for the organisation and delivery of school aged Children’s Immunisation Programme in Wrexham and Flintshire.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operational co-ordination of the school age Immunisation Programme including; procurement of vaccines and equipment, co-ordination of staffing rotas, completion of all documentation, including the facilitation of an efficient and effective recruitment process.

This is a part time position of 14.5 hours per week, to be worked in conjunction with the current post holder.

Co-ordinating and overseeing the smooth running of the school Immunisation rota schedule across Wrexham and Flintshire schools

The post holder will assist in the production of monthly duty rosters for Immunisers within the Imms and School Nursing teams

The post holder will be responsible for timely ordering of vaccinesThe post holder will provide quarterly analysis and reporting of vaccine budget spend, uptake rates and drug error rates.

The post holder will also undertake ad hoc reports and projects as and when requested by the Operations Manager or Service Manager. These reports / projects will be in line with the responsibilities of the grade of the post.

Excellent written and communication skills are required for this post, as well as the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
