Neighbourhood Operative

Seven Resourcing are looking for a number of Neighbourhood Operatives work with the Waste and Fleet Management Service in Redcar. This position is initially for a period of 5 months and is paying £11.59 per hour.

**The role**:
To maintain a clean and tidy Borough through coordinated quality grounds, cleansing work. To protect, enhance and promote access to the countryside and urban green spaces. To continually improve frontline services through effective and efficient performanceand customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manual sweeping, including removal of dog fouling, weed removal.
- Removal of graffiti (from street furniture), gum and fly posting.
- Toilet cleaning, opening and closing duties.
- Leaflet delivery.
- Pedestrian sweeping - street orderly barrow.
- Empty litter bins, including dog-waste bins.
- Litter picking (manually or mechanically) including needles.

**Applicant Requirements**:

- **Qualifications**: N/A.
- **Experience**: Experience of outdoor work.
- **Compliance**: Proof of right to work in the UK and 2 x references.
- **Travel**: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- **Hours**: 37.5 hours p/w.
