Do you have Buyer experience, and are you looking for a new opportunity in Fort William? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Buyer, and the role comes with a salary of £30,000 p/a and excellent benefits.

The Buyer will be responsible for placing purchase orders, negotiating best prices for materials and sourcing new products and suppliers to meet the company's operational requirements. As part of a team, you will be involved in Supplier Management and identifying opportunities to improve cost, quality and performance.

In your first few weeks in this Buyer role, you can expect to:

- Support the Procurement manager and other stakeholders in relation to supplier issues, communications and concerns which may impact the business operations
- Execute end-to-end procurement processes, including data collection, spend analysis, negotiation and contract award
- Assist in the source of new vendors, resolve conflicts concerning materials or services at the department and vendor levels
- Provide detailed analysis against cost savings and cost avoidance
- 3 or more years in a similar role
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of current and forthcoming procurement processes
